In gratitude for the Spanish collaboration in the salvage of the Nubian monument, the Egyptian Goverment gave Spain this temple in return in 1968.The temple, located in one of Madrid´s most beautiful parks, is one of the few examples of Egyptian architecture that can be admired outside the country, and the only one of its kind in Spain.
