| GIFT “ON THE HOUSE” |
This was the First Inn to be built in Madrid at the time of the Hapsburgs and was founded in 1642. It has been renovated and is now a restaurant specialising in Castilian and Madrid cuisine. The dishes which particularly stand out are the young lamb, cut into quarters and roasted on a wood-fire oven, and the cocido Madrileño, traditionally cooked in an earthenware pot over a low fire.
