The Costume Museum gives a comprehensive view of the history of costumes in Spain from distant times up to the early 21st century. The exhibition is organised around a Main Circuit, providing a chronological tour of the history of clothes interspersed with monographic areas describing specific aspects of dress as well as important figures in fashion history: folk costumes, Mariano Fortuny, haute couture in Spain and Cristóbal Balenciaga. A Second Circuit is for educational activities, relaxation and reading.
