The Railway Museum is located in the old Delicias station, one of the most representative examples of 19th century “cast-ironwork architecture"". It preserves a comprehensive collection of locomotives and passenger wagons, illustrating the development of traction - steam, electric and diesel - over more than 150 years of railway history, including the changing conditions in which train passengers travelled.
The exhibition is rounded off with rooms containing clocks and models, others displaying railway infrastructure and the jobs and trades in the sector, and the Algodor interlock, a unique piece from our industrial heritage. The museum is also the headquarters of the Railway Library and the Historic Railway Archive.
